Account Deletion — ZenVault VPN

This page explains how to request deletion of your ZenVault VPN account and what data is deleted. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Important note about Google Play subscriptions

ZenVault VPN on Android uses Google Play Billing. Deleting your ZenVault account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. If you want to stop renewals, cancel your subscription in Google Play: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Google controls your purchase history and subscription records in Google Play. We cannot delete Google’s records.

2. How to request deletion

You can request account deletion in either of these ways:

  1. In-app: Profile → Security → Delete account (or equivalent).
  2. By email: send a request from the email address linked to your ZenVault account to legal@infracloud.am with subject Account Deletion Request.
For security, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account (for example, by replying from the same email address used for the account).

3. Deletion timeline

After you request deletion, we schedule deletion and complete it within 48 hours. In some cases (for example, high load or verification needs), it may take slightly longer, but we aim to complete deletion within this timeframe.

4. What data is deleted

When deletion is completed, we delete or permanently unlink the following data associated with your account:

  • Firebase Authentication: your sign-in record (UID) used for accessing the app.
  • Firestore user profile (Users/<uid>): email, display name, photo URL, optional profile fields, device labels, subscription/trial fields.
  • Subcollections under your user document, including:
    • connections (protocol settings, server references, sync status, and VPN configuration/metadata required to connect);
    • traffic_history (traffic totals and session summaries shown in the app);
    • notifications (in-app messages targeted to your account).
  • VPN configuration on servers: we remove the VPN peer/configuration associated with your account where applicable, which also terminates active sessions.

5. What may remain temporarily

Encrypted backups: copies of some data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time and are deleted on a rolling basis.

We may retain limited records if required by law or to resolve disputes, prevent fraud/abuse, or enforce our Terms, but we do not retain browsing history or traffic contents.
